This world class Hypnotherapy Certification training is held 3 times each year, and the course runs 3 months.  There is also an intern program that is ongoing. Interns are admitted as space becomes available.

We are approved by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (approval no. PCE 4912) to offer Continuing Education Units (CEU's) to Marriage & Family Therapists (MFTs) and Licensed Counseling Social Workers (LCSWs) for a wide variety of classes and seminars here at The Healing Shoppe.  The courses listed below qualify for CE Units.

Become a Certified Hypnotherapist (CHT) in our  training program that will change your life as you prepare to be able to change the lives of others.  This course is taught mainly by internationally know hypnotherapist Rick McFall.  Rick developed his own methods of hypnotherapy and has taught them as a previous faculty member at HCH Institute in Lafayette California, one of the oldest and most respected hypnotherapy schools in the world. 


Take this course for dramatic personal growth, or start your own hypnotherapy practice in California (requirements for other states may differ), or BOTH.  There are NO PREREQUISITES needed other than fluency in English and be at least 18 years of age or be 16 years of age & have written permission from your parents.  This course is 160 hours of classroom training and 40+ hours of outside study and projects.  Classes are held at The Healing Shoppe & Learning Center in Upland, CA. 

You will learn everything you need to know about hypnosis, as well as practical suggestions for running your own hypnotherapy business.  You may also choose to continue on in our Clinical Certification program where you work with real world clients under the supervision of an instructor.  Upon completion of the intern program, you receive an additional certificate and the title of Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist (CCHT).

GRADING AND ATTENDANCE POLICY: There are no grades given in this course, but you will receive a certificate of completion after attending all required hours.  If you miss more than 5 days of classes (or 40 hours), you will need to re-take the entire training the next time it is offered in order to obtain a certificate of completion.  If you miss more than 5 days/40 hours in the second training, you will not receive any certificate of completion and may not take the training again without paying in full for the original training plus $1000.

HYPNOTHERAPIST CERTIFICATION TRAINING

This course is made up of 4 levels taught in 3 months.  There are outside projects that are part of the training, but unlike other schools, only a small portion of your credit hours are earned outside of formal classroom training and practicums.  Each training is 3 months in length and consists of 20 days of 8 hours a day instruction, practice, and hands on experience.  You will also be involved in individual recording and instructional sessions with your instructors. Homework and outside study is limited to creating and writing scripts for your class projects as well as projects which vary from training to training.  Dates for the current and upcoming trainings are:

HOW WE COMPARE: Here are just a few things to take into consideration.

1. We are much less expensive, much more personal, and more in depth than I think you will find anywhere else. Cost-wise, you'll save $1000 to $2000. We give 200 hours where "they" give as few as 100 hours for a higher tuition. I know of one school that charges $1800 for 40 hours of classroom training and sends you out to do 60 private sessions on the "honor system" and they give graduates a certificate for 100 hours of training.

2. We have a free (zero dollars cost to you) intern program that offers advanced degrees and we include in our basic program subjects that they charge hundreds if not thousands of dollars more for. I know of one major school that offers Past Life Regression as only an advanced, separate program costing nearly $600. With us, it's included. Another offers just basic superficial training for weight loss, stopping smoking, and fear and phobia removal. We go in depth with all three, because that's what people will request most and is what you need to know the best.

3. We include how to record your own CDs/MP3 files for download, how to set up an online store and make money while you sleep -- seriously. I know of only one other school that does any of this, and it is just a seminar on making your own CD for which they charge $300.

4. We include Reiki Practitioner Certification Levels 1 & 2 for FREE. They charge $300+ for each level or $600. So with "them", you could pay nearly $1500 for just 3 things that we include in basic training AND we include everything in our training that they include as well except we don't make you video yourself doing a session to be critiqued in class. We don't see enough value in that over and above what we already do in observing and giving constructive suggestions every day of class. 5. They take longer for less training. Our course lasts 11 to 12 weeks. Theirs lasts 4 months to more than a year for less actual hours of classroom and/or supervised training.

TUITION/FEES/FINANCIAL AID:  The Total Tuition for all 4 levels is $2400 plus a $100 registration fee.  That makes the cost of the course $2500.  The registration fee is non-refundable unless you are denied admission to the program.  There are discounts and a scholarship available that can take the total cost down to $2000.  This is the lowest cost in California for a 200 hour Hypnotherapist Certification Course that meets the California Board of Behavioral Sciences requirements for continuing education units for MFTs and LCSWs. 

The course consists of 4 levels and used to be taught one level per month for four months.  We have condensed the training to the same number of days and hours, but in three months instead of four.  For students who wish to pay tuition as they complete each month, the charge is $800 per month, with the additional $100 registration fee being paid the first month.

REFUND POLICY: The registration fee of $100 is non-refundable unless you are turned down for admission into the hypnotherapy program.  All tuition paid is non-refundable after the start of the first class for that training.  No refunds in part or in whole will be offered if requested on or after the first day of the first class of the course in which the student is enrolled.  People who are financing the class are still liable for all payments agreed to.  Registration and tuition will be completely refunded if a scheduled course is cancelled for any reason by The Healing Shoppe and Learning Center.
